Amazing love everything about this place returning customer!! Highly Recommend service is fast food is great clean and very peaceful
Lovely ambiance. Seeing lights on the ceiling. Cozy wooden walls. Ok carbonara. Good service.
All the food is good. I usually come here around lunch time and there is no one so it's pretty quiet. I always get the Kimchi pasta which is really delicious. But I got the donkatsu last time and the portion was smaller and looked different from the picture on the menu, so I don't recommend. Overall, service was good and I recommend eating the fusion pastas.
Kawaii Neetpilled Hikikomoris .. What a cozy barn to suit one's quaint desires! From the enchanting decor right at the entrance to the inside areas, we found delight in every nook and cranny of this place's interior. Our little furry companion (bear-chan) was with us at every step of this experience nyah~ The menu had a good array of Korean dishes and compelling drinks. We spent a total of $20-30 each and our selection included two colorful drinks that matched our auras along with the rosé ddukbokki and shrimp fried rice. (Ur telling me a shrimp fried dis rice?! xD) The food and refreshments were pretty good and filled us up nicely. After we were done eating, we enjoyed the ambience of the area and had a little bit of fun. We saw the owner's cute doggo which made our little bear friend happy too hehe. The tv screens were playing random kpop mvs but the worker was also kind enough to accept specific song/artist requests. We saw Red Velvet, T-ara, After School, Girls' Generation, and many more of our favorite girlies xoxo We thanked and paid for our food and decided to embark on a journey to the unknown upstairs area :O To our excitement, the area was much more immersive than expected, and we spent time taking photos and goofin' around in there XP After we left we went on a short but sweet journey to a nearby park and frolicked about (and acshually touched grass bleppp). It was certainly a whimsical moriful day~
my girlfriends and I went to Anju House next door few months ago and wanted to try The Barn Cafe. I was surprised by how pretty it is inside. The pictures on Yelp looked like a coffee shop but it's a nice drinking place with great ambiance. It has a huge menu which we definitely didn't take advantage of. We had roasted chicken (good), kimchi pancake (it was very sour), chicken gizzard (good) and lots of beer and soju. I wish we tried more food items... Service is awesome, they gave us free drinks since we stayed for 5 hours. We will definitely be back. They have dedicated valet parking attendant out front. We really enjoyed our time here! Go check it out!!
I don't hang out often in Koreatown, but so glad my friend brought me here for brunch. Street meter parking is available (accepts card payment) and there is also valet parking offered. When I first walked inside it reminded me of a cute Korean cafe with cute decor and very much resembles a barnyard. There is an outdoor seating area as well as indoors. I would say plentiful amount of seats. The menu is huge and you can find anything from breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes as well as tons of drinks and alcohol. Everything looked so good so it won't be my last time coming. Everything came out piping hot and fresh! We ordered: The Barn Omelette - 5/5 (Served from 8am-3pm) Comes with a free coffee as well. This omelette is served with a side of salad, toast and fried potatoes. All great pairings and a really simple but tasty omelette :) Rose Ddukboki - 5/5 My first time trying this and OMG soooo good! It definitely has a kick of spicy to it, but in a mild way. The sauce was really good too, i can't really describe it. The dish itself was pretty big being that it was a lunch portion. Overall it was really good and we had leftovers to take home. A definite gem that will be added to my "must visit again" list. Enjoy!
This restaurant exudes both elegance and charm, creating a delightful atmosphere for diners. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers dishes that strike a balance between quality and affordability, making it a worthwhile culinary destination. Among the various options, the mentaiko pasta stood out as a personal favorite, impressing with its flavors and presentation. The attentive service ensured a swift dining experience, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the meal. It's worth noting that the restaurant is well-equipped to accommodate larger groups, as there are ample seats available for parties of up to five. In terms of parking, the valet option provides convenience for a fee of $3. The valet attendant added to the positive experience, displaying a friendly and helpful demeanor. All in all, this establishment offers a fusion of sophistication and charm, making it a place I would gladly return to for another delightful dining experience.
Mt first time here and it turned out to be a great lunch spot. Indoor/outdoor space. Nice portions of food and excellent service. My drink was my favorite. Grain smoothie. It doesn't translate well to English but trust me you have to try it! It's traditionally a very Korean drink but as a smoothie it was super refreshing and not too sweet.
